iii. We already possessed biological life in our human body (1Thess. 5:23c)
19. We became the beneficiaries of a Writ of Acceptability.
a. We received the imputation of the Righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ (1Cor. 1:30; 2Cor. 5:21)
b. We received the imputation of the Righteousness of God the Father (Rom. 3:22; Phil. 3:9)
c. We received the imputation of the Righteousness of God the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:10-11)
d. We are positionally sanctified which means we are set apart to God (1Cor. 1:30, 6:11)
e. We are perfected forever (Heb. 10:14)
f. We were made meet (Greek: ἱκανοω – hikanoo, G2427) which means we were declared qualified for an eternal relationship with God (Col. 1:12)
g. The Writ of Acceptability is a court order issued by God the Father guaranteeing that through the Lord Jesus Christ we meet all of God’s requirements to possess and sustain an eternal relationship with Him (Eph. 1:6; 1Pet. 2:5)
20. We became the beneficiaries of a Writ of Justification.
a. We were justified by His grace (Rom. 3:4; Titus 3:7)
b. We were justified by His blood (Rom. 5:9)
c. We were justified by our non-meritorious act of faith (Rom,. 5:1)
d. We were justified by God’s work within us (James 2:21-26 compared with Phil. 2:12-13)
e. We were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (1Cor. 6:11a)
f. We were justified by the Holy Spirit (1Cor. 6:11b)
g. The Writ of Justification is a court order issued by God the Father declaring us to be justified (Rom. 8:30)
21. We became the beneficiaries of a Writ of Sanctification.
a. We receive positional sanctification which means we were set apart to God for time and eternity (1Cor. 1:30, 6:11)
b. We receive experiential sanctification immediately through the filling of God the Holy Spirit (1Cor. 2:12)
Principle: The filling of the Holy Spirit and therefore experiential sanctification is lost the moment we commit our fires sin (over, verbal, or mental attitude) after salvation experiential sanctification and the filling of the Holy Spirit is restored by confessing our known sins. (1John 1:9)
c. We received the power to obtain progressive sanctification, which is the advancement toward spiritual maturity through the hearing, understanding, believing and applying of bible doctrine (2Tim. 2:15, 3:16-17; Rom. 10:17 compared with 2Pet. 3:18)
d. We Receive a guarantee of ultimate sanctification, which means that at the rapture of the church, we will receive a perfect, sinless body and will be sustained in perpetual experiential sanctification throughout eternity future (1Cor. 15:51-57 compared with 1Thess. 4:13-18)
Principle: Positional sanctification elevates every Christian to a standing before God that is superior to the standing of angels. (Heb. 2:9-11)
Principle: Positional sanctification nullifies the human value systems of race, family, culture, social standing, personal talent, personal achievement, wealth, economic status, sexual gender, marital status, education, religion, environment, and philosophical belief. (Eph. 4:4-6 compared with 1Cor. 12:12-13)
